Wow.  Haven't been on in quite awhile and added another move!  Will it never end?????

Husband has been very ill, too.  Lots going on.  Hopefully will update soon.

Holey moley!

I keep forgetting about this blog!  But also have been busy.  Husband had cancer the end of 2011, surgery, then a blood clot; ended up in ICU.  Not sure if I'll get up to date but will try.

North to Alaska!!

I flew with my 1 yr. old daughter from PA to Chicago, then to Seattle, then to Anchorage, AK.  We had a very small furnished apartment right off base.  No carpeting.  I hate used sofas, beds, etc.  I couldn't eat for a few days and when I did, it wasn't much and hard to keep down.  It looked like someone had kicked in the door since even though it was closed and locked, it came in a bit where the frame was.  Didn't feel very secure!  It was July so the weather was very nice.  But, due to longer day time hours, the sun came up very early and set very late.  The first morning I awoke thinking it was about 8 am and my husband was late for work.  I looked at the clock.  The time was 3 am!!!  I thought maybe our clock had stopped.  We had to have special darkening blinds on all the windows since the sun didn't set until about 10 pm.  Most people put aluminum foil to cover their windows so the children wouldn't wake up too early!!!  What a learning experience.

Moved Again! 2010

It is August 2010 and we moved again. But, this time to a new home, our own. I love it. Hired packers this time since I'm gettin' too old for this stuff, but I still had to pack most items myself. Habit, I guess! LOL! We also hired a cleaning company so we could get our deposit back on the rental. But, I still had to sweep the floors before they came and remove any very obvious marks!! LOL! What can I say? Is it my pride? Oh, well. I'll have to post more later. Hope everyone enjoyed the summer and is getting ready for school and Labor Day. Peace.

Movin' Back Across Town

This time in my own home. Yes, we finally bought our own place and settlling down here in this military town. Hey, that sounds like lyrics to a country song. I have not been on for so long and don't even remember where I left off in my travels and the travels continue. There's just not enough time.
